I tend to use the word "inspired" when I mean "motivated", but the reason for that is subtle. I wouldn't use motivated because my motivation is really intangible and pretty abstract, too, thus the use of inspiration. When I'm inspired to do something, I have no motivation other than bringing the idea into reality--and that thought is strong enough to carry me through to it.

Long story short, I can get inspired despite nothing really motivating me, but I don't really draw things I plan unless it really inspired me, and usually I draw them right away.

So basically, "inspired" for me means "felt like doing it on a whim". So when I finally feeling like drawing that picture, I'll end up doing it and attempting to finish it quickly. Otherwise, I end up moping about, doing nothing.

I suppose this means I'm not cut for commissions.
